Yroll attended Our Lady of Fatima University in the Philippines where he earned a Bachelor degree in Nursing. Also, he has attained TESOL Certification from the NTC Group Training Center at Sovannaphumi School. Currently, he is undertaking a Post- Graduate Course in the Certificate in Professional Teaching at AMA Open University.

In his eight years of teaching experience here in Cambodia, he has learned that teaching alone is not enough, it must be a combination of “teaching” and “passion”. Working at Shrewsbury International School Phnom Penh has given him the opportunity to share his knowledge to his students and to inspire them, because he believes that learning does not always come from the book, most of the time, it comes from the experience. Being a nurse and a member of this institution, creating a “Home-Like” environment inside the classroom with an additional combination of different teaching approaches motivates babies to explore and develop their skills. “There is no better time than today to encourage our gifted young learners to shine!” says Yroll!
